Inflammable Liquid of Dangerous Goods

Posted Date:2022/11/23

This class includes flammable liquids and liquid desensitized explosives.

This class of goods means flammable liquids, liquid mixtures or liquids containing solid substances, but does not include liquids classified in other classes because of their dangerous properties. The flash point of the closed cup test is equal to or lower than 61℃, but the flash point applicable to this mode of transportation can be determined by different modes of transportation, and not lower than 45℃.

This class of goods is divided into three categories according to flash point:

Item 1. Very short liquids in low flashpoint group

This cargo refers to liquids whose flash point is below -18℃ in the closed cup test.

Item 2: Very short in intermediate flashpoint group

This cargo refers to liquids whose closed cup test flash point is -18℃ to < 23℃.

Item 3 Very short liquids in high flashpoint group

This cargo refers to liquids with flash point between 23℃ and 61℃ in closed cup test.

Flammable liquids also include liquids that meet one of the following conditions:

b) Substances that are transported or submitted to transport in liquid state under high temperature conditions and emit flammable vapors at temperatures equal to or below the maximum transport temperature.

Liquid desensitized explosive refers to a uniform liquid mixture formed after the explosive substance is dissolved or suspended in water or other liquid substance in order to inhibit the explosive performance of the explosive substance.

Flammable liquids and their volatile flammable gases burn rapidly upon fire; When the concentration of the volatile combustible gas in the air reaches the explosion limit, the explosion occurs in the event of Mars; Flammable liquid stored in a closed container can burst when heated and cause combustion; Large quantities of flammable gas spread into the air, poisoning or suffocating people and animals. Generally shall not be mixed with other varieties in transportation. Special attention should be paid to fire, heat and impact prevention, and operate according to safety requirements.
